Oooooops – do we give a shit? Nope! Wives, husbands and partners (and other relatives) of MPs need, like the MPs, to get to grips with public opinion. See the article in the Telegraph here:
Albeit the outcome of the debacle may be some compromise, the voting public will not forget come the time of putting that X in the box.
Do I have some sympathy with MPs spouses/partners/relatives – well yes in actual fact, but things are way past reasoned debate. They just need to do what they are told and carry on – and anyway, why in the long run should preferential treatment be given to these people. Whose needs are we meeting here?
The voting public? Nope! The MP and family or cronies – yep!

Gawd ,this boat is bobbing about again and after an Indian Meal last night I aint feeling so good. Perhaps after breakfast I can face rowing off to get the papers.
